Privacy policy

This page explains what I do with the information you send me. I am the only person who reads it.

Who is responsible for your data

What I receive

  • Through the contact form: your name, email, type of business, town if you give it, and your message.
  • By email: whatever you choose to write.

This site sets no cookies and loads no fonts or resources from Google. To know how many people visit and where they come from, I use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool: it counts visits anonymously (page viewed, referring site, device type, country), without tracking you across sites or storing your IP address. It also records that the form was sent and your answer to “How did you find me?”, never your name or your message. If you choose the dark theme, your browser keeps that choice (local storage) and sends me nothing. Like any server, the host (OVH) keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested) for security.

Why

To reply to you, send you a quote and, if you become a client, build your site and issue invoices. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR article 6.1.b) and, for invoices, a legal obligation.

Who else has access

  • Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States) receives form messages and forwards them to me by email, so your data passes through the United States. See Formspree's privacy policy.
  • Google (Gmail) hosts my contact@nlbstudio.fr inbox.
  • OVH (France) hosts the site.
  • Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) provides the anonymous analytics described above. See Umami's privacy policy.

I never sell or lend your data, and I never add you to a mailing list.

How long

  • If you do not become a client: 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
  • If you become a client: for the length of our work together, then 10 years for quotes and invoices (accounting obligation).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to contact@nlbstudio.fr. I reply within one month at the latest. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
